The Multi Genre, Multi Day Themed Event Interview – Teresa Gabelman

Here is my author interview with Teresa Gabelman for the The Multi Genre, Multi Day Themed Author Event – Paranormal Day. We will be featuring her Lee County Wolves series which currently has Forbidden Hunger, Forbidden Seduction and her latest release Forbidden Desire so make sure to grab these amazing books today. Also she is the author of the best selling vampire books The Protector Series!

What made you choose to write in the paranormal genre?
I’ve always loved reading paranormal so that is the direction I wanted to go with my writing.

How many books do you currently have out and which one would you recommend new readers start with?
In the Protectors Series I have 10, Damon is the first in the series. In the Lee County Wolves I have 3, Forbidden Hunger is the first in that series. I also have The Enforcer which is only one book at this time and is also paranormal. I have also have a contemporary cowboy romance, Rodeo Romance which is just one book.

Do you enjoy reading paranormal books as much as you like t write them?
Absolutely.

If you could co-write a new paranormal  book with any other author who would you choose and why?
Too many to count. HA! But Sherrilyn Kenyon would be at the top of that list. 🙂

How do you think you have grown as an author from the time when you first started until now?
Oh yeah, hopefully all authors grow from their first book to present. I know I have big time. It’s a ongoing learning process and I love every minute of it.

If you had to describe the life of an author in three words what would you choose?
Deadlines, stress, blessed.

Do you have any recent literary news that you would like to share with us?
Just had a new release which is Forbidden Desire, the 3rd book in the Lee County Wolves. I’m also going to be at the RT Convention in Atlanta during the week of May 1st so hopefully I will see a lot of reader friends.
How long on average does it take you from start to finish to release a new book?
It really depends. I’ve written a book in less than two weeks, but that is not the norm. It’s really hard to say because so many factors come into play such as life, flow of writing, etc.

What book or books do you plan on promoting during your paranormal themed day takeover?
Mostly my last two recent releases which is Blaze in the Protectors Series and Forbidden Desire in the Lee County Wolves.

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice when it came to being an author what would you say and why?
Keep going no matter how hard it gets and it does get hard. And have fun and always respect your readers and fellow authors.
