What made you choose to write in the paranormal genre?
I like the freedom you have when writing in paranormal romance. There is no limit to what can happen or what your characters can do. They can have any powers. Come from anywhere. Experience anything. The only limit is my imagination.

How many books do you currently have out and which one would you recommend new readers start with?
I currently have five books available to purchase. My three book series The Heroes of Heart Falls, My novel Soul Tie Seduction book 1 Jettison Brotherhood, and Passion of a Witch book 1 A Wicked Series. If you’re interested in Paranormal Romance you can start with either Soul Tie Seduction or Passion of a Witch. They are both book 1 of their series. My other series is contemporary Romance. Although they can stand on their own, I suggest reading book 1 Cross My Heart.

Do you enjoy reading paranormal books as much as you like to write them?
I love reading paranormal romance. I have over 1000 books on my Kindle and I’d say about seventy percent of them are paranormal romance.

If you could co-write a new paranormal book with any other author who would you choose and why?
I would love to write with J R Ward. She is my favorite. I love her style of writing. The Black Dagger Brotherhood is one of my all time favorite series.

How do you think you have grown as an author from the time when you first started until now?
I think over the past ten years I’ve really developed my own style. I’ve learned a lot from workshops and lectures, but I think the true teacher has been simply writing and reading.

If you had to describe the life of an author in three words what would you choose?
Heaven and hell.

Do you have any recent literary news that you would like to share with us?
I just met the five book milestone with RWA. Also, my sixth publication and book 2 of the Wicked Series should be released this summer.

How long on average does it take you from start to finish to release a new book?
I try to release at least two books a year. Unfortunately, working a day job kind of hinders me completing more.

What book or books do you plan on promoting during your paranormal themed day takeover?
My novel Passion of a Witch Book 1 of A Wicked Series.

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice when it came to being an author what would you say and why?
Be patient and don’t let the challenges discourage you.
