Are you an indie author or with a publisher and what do you find the pros and cons to be for each?
Indie all the way 🙂 – I’ve honestly never attempted to go with a publisher, so I don’t know much about them. One thing I DO know, is I love my freedom!!
What is your current “work in progress”?
I have a few things I’m currently working on. One is the next in the Wunder series, Instinct (Wunder #4). Another is an erotic thriller titled Blood Dance and one other is the next in the Destiny series (fantasy/paranormal romance) titled Dragon’s Destiny. I’m so excited about each one!
How many books do you currently have out and titles if you would like?
Including anthologies and boxed sets. There are a total of 13 and Teamwork (Wunder #3) is releasing shortly. You can view each one here: http://www.amazon.com/A.R.-Von/e/B00BGAHQ46/ref=ntt_athr_dp_pel_pop_1
What one character from your book or books do you connect with most and why?
Oh man. Each character has a lil’ piece of me. But I’d go with Wunder of the Wunder series. She’s strong, determined, kick ass and a woman I look up to as a person. She’s a action type of person. Not so much with the words. I hope that made sense lol
Being that this event is for the Christmas Season do you have any special traditions that you would like to share with us?
COOKIES! I love to bake and every year my boys and I bake and eat up at least a half dozen different cookie recipes.
What is your favorite Christmas dessert?
Raspberry butter cookies. OMG! They’re so mouth watering, melt in your mouth delicious!
What is the worst gift that you have ever received for Christmas?
I am grateful and cherish each and every gift I receive over the years. So I can say I’ve never received a bad gift. Now if we talk about family dinners/meals for the holiday. I have something for you there 😉
Who is your favorite author and or favorite book?
ONE!?! I can’t do just one!!! Stephen King (Pet Cemetery), Patricia Briggs (Mercy Thompson Series), Karen Marie Moning (Fever Series), Laurell K. Hamilton (Anita Blake Series) and George R.R. Martin (A Song of Fire and Ice Series). That’s just to name a few 🙂
If you had to describe yourself in three words what would they be?
Determined, funny and real.
What are your thoughts on being apart of the upcoming Book Elves on the Shelves event?
I’m very excited! I look forward to the event and meeting new people 🙂
