S.M. Knowles

I just finished my interview with the lovely S.M. Knowles who is the author of Rylee Everley Series which has been moved to one of my top favorites! Thank you for taking the time to do the interview with me. Check out the book review that I did on the first book in her series HERE!

What inspired you to write the Rylee Everley Series?
Originally my Rylee Everley Series wasn’t supposed to be a paranormal series. When I first started writing I was scared to write paranormal. This is the reason the books paranormal starts out slow, introducing more in each book.

Who is your favorite chracter in your Rylee Everley Series?
I love Lyla. She is the girl I always wanted to be growing up. She seems to love life and enjoys simple things. She really keeps Rylee grounded as well.

Which character do you think you connect with the most?
Rylee. lol – We grew up a lot a like. 😉

Who is your biggest supporter and why?
My daughter Reagan. She is always asking when the next book is coming out. She’s worse then facebook fans. HAA!

How long did it take you to write your first book?
I didn’t know what I was doing when I first started. I had all the wrong people editing my book. Since my first book I have found better editors and I will warn those of the bad editors.

Who does the illustrations for the Rylee Everley Series?
I had a lady named Joy do the first and 2nd book but she had some unfortunate problems arise so I will be having another lady finish the 4th book.

Are you working on any other projects right now that you would like to share with us?
I have many ideas for other books. If I could write full time all day everyday I would probably have around 15 books out already! 😉

Are you excited about being in the upcoming event sponsored by OddityReviews.com? Um, YES!!!

What advice would you give to other authors just starting out?
Feel free in coming to me with your questions. I want to pay it forward and help out as much as I can. 🙂
