Born Hunter (Age of Humanity) Book Review – Dave Rudden

Born Hunter final coverI have just finished reading the book Born Hunter which is the first book in the Age of Humanity series and while it was a bit different than my normal reads the series has great potential. The difference between this book that Dave Rudden has written versus many of the other books in this same genre is that it has only about 1/3 of the amount of pages but is fully packed with various adventures which the teams are sent on in order to track down various “monsters”. In the book I liked the fact that there was lots of action in the book immediately from the start you get a sense of what type of family the “Van Helsing/Singer” is and how they have instilled values that make a family truly what they should be. The main character Andrew or Drew as you will soon read does whatever it takes to ensure that the right monster is being hunted so no innocents are lost and will always put himself in harm’s way to protect his family and team. The book consists of various monsters including vampires, witches, werewolves and lots more so if you love paranormal books you will love this short read. This is the first book that I have read by Dave Rudden and I see that he is a talented writer and has used some of his own military background to help produce this short but amazing story. I definitely recommend that you take the time to read it if you have yet to do so. Click the link below to get your own copy of the book today!
