Featured author Sam Cheever was recently asked the following question by fan Rosie Amber – I’ve recently finished reading “Threads Of Yesterday” and I really love the ghostly characters in this series. If you could have a friendly ghostly companion at your writing desk, what era would you like that ghost to be from and would you like their input into helping you write?
Sam’s Reply: I’m fascinated by the American old west period of the United States. It’s the biggest reason my ghosts are from 1800s America and it’s been tons of fun researching that time in the country’s history. Someday I’d like to write a historical romance series based on those early years.
I’d love to have a Josselin Zebediah help me write my stories. #:0) Aside from the fact that he’s gorgeous and charming, it would be fascinating to hear about history through his rich first-hand experience.
Bedeviled & Beguiled
She’s on the side of good in the war between good and evil, but there’s this one bad guy…
Astra Q Phelps is on the side of the good guys in the war between good and evil. Unfortunately for her, the bad guys have been making inroads on her soul. And when a particularly dark and sexy dark worlder fixes his heated gaze on Astra, the lighter side of her nature quickly finds itself kicked to the curb by her slut-monkey side. But Astra doesn’t have time to deal with her love life. She’s in the middle of a war between two dark factions…a war that just might mean the end of the human population…and it seems the fate of the world rests uneasily on her shoulders. It’s a lot of pressure to put on one feisty halfling…but Astra Q Phelps is definitely…erm…certainly…ahh…possibly up to the challenge.
